Born and raised in the South Hills, Melissa spent the first 25 years of her life actively involved at PCBC and learning about God's heart for the world. She has been serving with Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) in full-time ministry since 2005, and PCBC has been a key partner since the beginning. She serves as a Digital Strategist, helping to give spiritual and strategic leadership to Cru's digital mission efforts worldwide. With most of the world having access to the internet, a smartphone in their pocket, and spending 7+ hours per day looking at a screen, there is a huge opportunity to reach people with the Gospel right where they are- online. Melissa is so grateful for all the ways that PCBC has shaped her life and faith and counts it a privilege to be partners in ministry together.
