Chris’ connection to Peters Creek started as a friendship in 1992 with fellow youth missionary Pastor Dave Barr, as they worked together to serve and minister to the local youth in the South Hills. This connection solidified in 1998 when Chris’ wife Lisa was called by Peters Creek to serve as the children's pastor, and the Thompsons started attending PCBC as a family. When Chris and Lisa were expecting their fourth child in 2003, Lisa stepped down from her position, but the Thompsons remain involved in the life of the church. As the executive director and Bethel Park ministry director at Youth for Christ, Chris cherishes the opportunity to partner with Peters Creek in sharing Jesus with teenagers and encouraging and teaching them how to follow Him every day of their lives.
